”Sports management is a world all its own, unique, and this training gave more than I dared to even expect. It was great to be a part of it. Even though I have long been both at work and in my free time in various positions in sports and physical education, including in various administrative positions, as a civil servant, as a trustee, as an amateur, as a parent, as an athlete in individual sports, as a player in a team sport, as a director, as a referee, I still got a lot of new things, the concretization of things and theories, places to stop and think. This also inspired me to continue my studies. It was also great to see how huge and diverse the expertise in the field of sports and physical activity management is in Finland. Similarly, how diverse sports and physical activity management positions are available in our country in very different and interesting organizations in many ways.
The discussions on the course were also the best part of the training. The autumn was heavy and laborious in many ways in my work tasks and through the reforms being prepared in my organization.
This training gave me strength and enthusiasm, also courage for the future and for developing my own work tasks and my own career.
