Executive MBA

”My own experiences of leadership and its challenges motivated me to start my MBA studies. I chose executive education at the University of Vaasa because through a local university with a good reputation, I have good access to the latest research data. I am extremely interested in all aspects of human activity and decision-making. I especially want to expand my own worldview and perception of things, making it easier to understand how people work. The studies provide me with tools for solving different situations and, above all, for moving forward and developing them.

I chose executive education at the University of Vaasa because through a local university with a good reputation, I have good access to the latest research data.

Mika Aaltonen’s lecture, which focuses on future visions and different alternative worldviews, was particularly interesting. Together with Mikko Luoma’s strategy part of the management team work, it opens up new perspectives and ideas on the direction and how to envision the future of the company’s operations.”

In my own work, I am particularly interested in combining law and good human resource management – for which I got excellent tools from Riitta Viitala’s ideas. It is refreshing to open other doors in addition to your own discipline and combine different pieces to support your own work. In these studies, I have plenty of tools and different views for that.”
