Dimitris G. Assimakopoulos is a Professor in Technology & Innovation Management with a senior faculty experience of 20+ years, in both Grenoble Ecole de Management (GEM 2001-2016) and EM-Lyon Business School (EML 2016-2021). Dimitris also serves as the EDAMBA.EU President-elect (2013-current) and on the EFMD European Quality Link (EQUAL) Board.
He has been educated in civil engineering, architecture, town & regional planning, and economic sociology in France (Grenoble, HDR in Economics), the UK (Sheffield, Ph.D. in City and Regional Planning), and the USA (Stanford University, part of his pos-doc funded by the ESRC in the UK, he spent it in the economic Sociology group, sponsored by Professor Mark Granovetter).
